PassivTape is a strong, reinforced, flexible air barrier sealing tape with an aggressive adhesive that does not become brittle over time for longterm air barrier reliability.
PassivTape is European technology that:
- Is free of solvents, emulsifiers, and has no other emulsion additives
- Has been coated with a special, acrylic, moisture-resistant adhesive for application in temperatures as low as -10°C
- Has a split release liner on 4” and 6” rolls and may be torn laterally for quick application
- Has outstanding aging properties for long term air sealing and building durability
- Provides great adhesion to most substrates (OSB/plywood, poly, building wrap etc.)
- Weatherproof and UV resistant for 6-12 months
