Protecto Wall VP - Self-Adhering, Self-Sealing Vapor Permeable Water Resistive Barrier
Protecto Wall VP Water Resistive Barrier is a primer-free self-adhering, self-sealing, nonwoven, vapor permeable, microporous polyolefin laminate that provides 98.5% drainage efficiency.
This product is utilized as a self-adhered, vapor permeable, water resistive barrier on exterior sheathing as well as behind exterior cladding and siding.
Note: Protecto Wall VP can be applied in extreme cold/hot weather; however, Protecto Wrap Company does not recommend applications below 0ºF (-17ºC) or above 125°F (51.6°C) due to health and safety reasons.

SHELF LIFE
Protecto Wall VP maintains optimum initial adhesion to substrates when used within two years from the date of manufacture.
STORAGE
Protecto Wall VP should be stored in the original, unopened container. Storage area should remain dry and out of direct sunlight. Do not remove materials from original containers until ready for use.
PREPARATION
All surfaces shall be clean, dry (it is permissible to install Protecto Wall VP over a damp surface, not a wet surface) and free of any foreign materials. The surface shall be free of gaps, sharp edges and protrusions. Any area with missing or damaged sheathing shall be repaired prior to installation of the Protecto Wall VP.
Protecto Wrap Company recommends testing substrates for adhesion prior to full application.
Installation over damp surfaces may result in the formation of bubbles/air pockets under the Protecto Wall VP due to moisture drive, the use of a roller will help to remove the bubbles and air pockets.
